1. what to sell on Amazon?

Sell unwanted items: If you are starting with a zero investment then you will want to sell unwanted items from around your house on eBay. Don’t forget to ask your family or friends if they have any unwanted items they would like to get rid of, offer to sell the items for them on eBay. The catch is to split the profits with your family or friends. If it were me I would offer them 40%  and keep 60% and remember to calculate and deduct your eBay fees here.

Drop ship items: If you are starting with capital then a great option would be to drop ship items from Amazon to eBay just to get started. Find a product selling for a really low price on Amazon then list it for a higher price on eBay. The key here is to find sellers on eBay that are getting (drop shipping) their items from Amazon then list the items they are listing on eBay. Keep in mind that you don’t want to do that with all of their listings, grab a few items then move on to the next seller. The goal is to help you generate enough capital to get you over on Amazon’s platform.

2. Online or Retail Arbitrage:

Now that you have started to generate an extra income I would suggest that you move over to Amazon, which is one of my favorite ways to increase my income. Using this method you will want to look at online stores who have items on sale or on clearance. If you find that they are selling well on Amazon (BSR below 100,000), lightweight and have less than 25 FBA sellers you may be on to something, purchase 3-6 of those items and send them into Amazon FBA. Every item is going to be different but these details are a good starting point.

3. Find suppliers:

There are suppliers everywhere: You can do a google search for wholesalers in your niche near and far. For starters, some of the things you can do are to use eBay, Amazon, Aliexpress, Alibaba or the Arbitrage method.

4. Test product quality:

If you are going the private label route be sure to order 5 -10 of the products from your supplier to evaluate the quality, then list them on eBay for reviews or you can sell them to friends and family for a low cost and ask them to review your product. Do not list these test items on Amazon, this is a quick and easy way to get your A-Z account shut down.

5. Brand your product:

At this point you probably haven’t thought about your brand, but you will want to start thinking about it now. What do you want others to identify with you as the reason to be their “go-to person” for. For example, KFC is known for having the best fried chicken, when you want fried chicken you think of KFC’s brand. Once you decide on the product you want to brand, then you can launch other products in the same category from the main product.

If your product passed the test it’s time start the branding process. Starting with having someone design a logo, create the images and design the packaging. After you have done the product keyword research and listed the item you can now begin to market your product on Amazon. Not only can you market it on Amazon but you can market on just about every social network available to man/woman.

What I’ve just shown you is the exact system we’ve personally used to master Amazon FBA. Using this method will allow you to level-up your income.
