I decided that I was not going to do anything on Friday night, because I made plans to go to my nephews basketball game.

Speaking of his game, it was a nightmare. It all started earlier that day when my youngest son who has DS fought me on everything that I tried to do.  He was having a bad day and it did not help mine a bit.

The end result was nothing that I planned to do was accomplished at this point of my day.It was so bad that my sister volunteered to come and pick him up, for my nephews basketball game.

I met up with her and the rest of the family to see my nephew in all of his glory. Him playing basketball takes him into a place of peace, joy and happiness…

Upon arrival I am approached with you need to get Nate some headphones, because the noise is too much for him. Of course I feel really bad, that I forgot to bring his headphones. The last time we went to a noisy place, we decided we would never go to one again. We forgot basketball games are noisy. I don’t know what we are going to do about that situation…. But continue to pray!

We tried sitting through it, but he was so miserable that I took him out in the hallway to play with his cousin in the hallway.

They were having a blast, I wish I could say the same for me.

After arriving home, I had an opportunity to watch my favorite TV show “House of Payne”. Just what the doctor ordered, a good laugh for the evening.

After the movie I was faced with keeping the commitment that I made with my email coach. Well, I was exhausted and went to bed instead.

Woke up this morning with all intentions to complete my to do list.

But hubby came home from piano lessons and needed to transfer something to a mp3 file. He had no idea how to do it and neither did I. I changed my plans to help him wih his. It took us close to 4 hours to figure it out.  If you only knew….

My day was shot!

In order to unwind and get a breather I ran to Costco’s to grab my favorite yogurt treat. While out I called my coach to say “I need to talk to you, it’s been a rough day, I have accomplished absolutely nothing!”

After spending some time on the phone, her helping me and me trying to help her with a project she was working on. We started laughing to the point of not being able to stop.

Here I am now, pushing through this post.

My goal is to stay in contact with you. Never again to leave you for as long as I did.

And to say I don’t care what I go through, I am here to help you build your business online.

I don’t care what it takes, I am here to help and encourage you to reach your goals and push past your pain.

~Queen Of A 5 Hour Work Week~

Since I have been teaching “Grooming The Next Generation For Success” I discovered that I spoiled my children. In particularly my oldest son. Everyday that we reside in the same house, it becomes more evident.

The other day, he decides at the last minute that he wanted me to pick him and his friend up from school. They had plans to hang out at my house after school. On a normal day that would have been fine with me. But on this particular day I had a meeting scheduled, therefore would not allow him and his friend to stay at the house alone.

I could not believe how upset he had become, when I told him that was not going to happen. He was expecting for me to change my plans.

When my oldest son was little I gave him everything that he wanted, plus some.

You see I have always been there for my children. He was 5 years old when I left corporate america earning $60,000 a year. There has not been a day that has gone by, that I have not been there waiting on him hand and foot.

After I left my J.O.B, I scale back on my spending with him, but it was not enough.  I would still continue to buy him things that he did not need. Once my daughter was born, I scaled back even more. But him as well as the rest of my children have always gotten what they asked for .

If my children asked me for something, I would always get it.

But is that the real world?

Did I set them up for failure or did I set them up for success?

The real world is if you want something you must work for it and you may go through some rough times getting it. We must teach them that no one owes them anything.

Now that I have decided to do things differently in our home, my kids are having a difficult time adjusting.

Lets tie the you owe me mentality into the business world.

Someone will join your team, but will quit, because you did not give them everything that they wanted. Example: spend every waking moment with them.

Don’t get me wrong, I believe a leader should be accessible and help their team members  grow.  But not to the point where it interferes with his or her life.

Often times people fail to realize that leaders have families as well. Also they fail to realize that, if a leader does not take a break he will eventually reach burnout.

We want to see you succeed, but in order for us to do that, we need for you to check and make sure “You owe me” is not hanging out with you.

Instead of jumping from one company to the next, I encourage you to stick with one company and find a mentor in your company to learn from. Apply what you learned and as yo apply learn from your mistakes. You will become a great leader following that process. The key is to apply what you learn. You are your greatest teacher.

Queen Of A 5 Hour Work Week

We live in a microwave society and if it is not easy, we don’t want
to fight for what belongs to us. We figure why even try?

Our forefathers and mothers fought in battle, giving us an opportunity for so much more.

They were warriors and did not give up easily. Why are we giving up so easily?

Look at the divorce rate, no one wants to work at anything anymore.

When I grew up I saw broken, unhappy and unhealthy marriages. At that point, I decided that is not what I wanted.

Therefore I chose to take action and work at my marriage, vowing to
never quit. At least that is what I thought.

Looking back 19 years ago. December 12, 1993. I should have know things where not going to be easy, when hubby showed up 45 minutes late on our wedding day.

The following day we left for our honey moon to Las Vegas. Wow you
should have seen my eyes light up, when we stepped off the shuttle
bus into the fabulous city of Las Vegas.

I stopped at the first slot machine and hubby was forgotten.

I did not realize I had the traits of being a gambler until hubby said “wow I married a gambler.” I am glad to say that is no longer the case.

Shortly afterward, I met hubby in the room and we both got dressed too go out to dinner. Well dinner was a disaster. During dinner we had this big blow up. It was a nightmare honeymoon. To the point were we both of us started arguing and would not speak to each other during our honeymoon.

We both wanted a out and getting a divorce was our choice.

After returning home I contacted the attorney to find out the procedures for a divorce.

I did not want a divorce, but made a point to call the attorney in front of him, with hopes that he would change his mind.

After hanging up the phone I asked my self the question of why am I
quitting at my marriage?

I decided to give it another try and another and another and another. Trust me it was not an easy road to travel.

But we are here at 19 years and loving each other unconditionally.
The apple of each others eye.

I tell you this story not because I am proud, but because I am experience the benefits of not quitting.

I am so glad that I did not walk away from my marriage. God has
blessed me with a wonderful husband that loves me for who I am.

You may ask Rachale how do you stay in the storm and not quit?

My ultimate answer I will reveal at the end of this post. .

But using my business mind I would say in order to never quit, you
must have a strong why?

Why did I want my marriage tosucceed, because I wanted a marriage that was different than my parents.

I wanted my children to have a father in their life.Why was that important to me? Because I have seen too many fatherless children, more than I would like too think about.

As I would see them, I would feel their pain. You see I grew up
fatherless. Growing up fatherless creates voids in your life. So
many blanks that need to be filled in.

I must confess, I had a step-father, but that is another sad story.

I hear many single people say their kids turned out fine, without a father. But if you did not have a father while growing up, you know how vital it is to have one.

A real father is priceless. Boys don’t know how to be men wihout their fathers. A woman can’t teach a boy how to be a man.

I encourage single mothers to find a male mentor for your children.

That does not mean to trust every man that comes along, but it does
mean look at his fruit and if his fruit is good, your children are
in good hands.

Speaking of mentors, they are crucial. I believe everyone should
have a mentor in every area of their life.

They are so crucial that I have decided, that is what I will do
with my life. Mentor parents and helping them start a home
business.

Having an home business gives me the opportunity to be at home with
my children and invest in their future.
No longer am I required to leave home 40 hours a week. Now I can
invest 5 hours a week in my business, leaving me the opportunity to work more on the things that I love to do.

Being the Queen of A 5 Hour Work Week has made life much easier for
me.

Hold on to your seats and take a deep breath as I reveal to you the
ulimate reason I have not quit, in the mist of not having a father in
my life.

But before I share I want to encourage you to never quit: Quitting is not an option!

I have had many team members quit because they did not see results
in 30 days.

When I first started, I did not see results in 30 days either. But
it was not until I found my current company that I was able to
see an income within 30 days.

Let’s do the math. I have been in the internet marketing industry
for almost 3 years.

It was not until 7 months ago that I saw a consistent residual
income that I was pleased with.

Oops, I almost went on fogot! My don’t quit source is my faith in
God. When things were rough in life, it was my faith that helped
me to go through the storm and never quit.

I encourage you whatever you maybe going through, don’t quit!

There is a great reward if you continue to work hard at what you
desire. So glad that I did not quit.

~Queen Of A 5 Hour work Week

She asked the group, if they had a key that would open any door, what door would it open?

As I sat there and pondered on that question. I was in deep thought and reflecting back over my life.

In my reflection I went back to a beautiful day in April of 2001.

Life was good and I had everything that I dreamed of as a little girl.

I had a wonderful husband who had given me everyting that I wanted. Two beautiful heathy children, a gorgeous home, nice car and the freedom to go and do what I wanted to do, when I wanted to do it.

Life was perfect, I was living the dream!

That was up until I received a call that changed my life forever.

I answer the phone with excitement and on the other end there was a male voice,

that I was not familiar with.

He asked if he could speak to Mrs. Kelley.

I responded with “this is her speaking, how may I help you?”

His response was “this is Dr. Jenkins and I am calling you to let you know the test came back positive”

I responded with “are you sure?”

His response was “yes”, but we would like to do some addition testing

and at that time we can decide on what you would like to do.

I paused for a moment to catch my breath. I was devestated!

This could not be right, I had done everyting I knew to take care of my body. Eating healthy, drinking 6-8 glasses of pure water everyday, no sugar in my diet. In the bes shape of my life.

This was a little too much to entertain after enjoying such a beautiful day in March.

I then proceed to ask him “if there was a possibility that the test was wrong”

He replied “Mrs. Kelley” for your sake I wish I could say yes, but that is not the case.

He then asked me again, “if I would like to come in to the office and have additional testing done” and I responded with “no thank you this test is not going to change anything!”

My doctor responded with “ok, that is your choice and I will support you in whatever decision you make.”

I remember hanging the phone up with him and calling my pastor to share this horrible news with her.

After sharing with her what the doctor had said to me “she began to pray for every organ of my babies  body.

You see the doctor had just called me to tell me that the child that was in my womb, was going to be born with Down Syndrome.

He had given me the opportunity to come into his office to take  the amniostesis test . And if the test came out positive I had the option to aboard my baby.

I refused the test because I had been told it causes woman to lose their babies.

It did not matter what the test said, I was not going to aboard my baby. I had enough faith to believe that God was going heal him of this horrible disease.

And I was going to love him no matter what his condition was. I was willing to pay the price that it would cost to have him.

Believe me the cost has been unbelievable,but I would not change anything if I had an opportunity to go back and do it allover again.

This pregnacy was one of the worst that I had. I was sick just about every day that I carried him.

Fast forward to November 11, 2001.

I remember laying in the bed then rolling over to tell my husband that we needed to go to the hospital immediately.

After arriving at the hospital, I was admitted and ready for delivery. I kept looking around to see where my doctor was, but she was no where to be found.

In the meantime, the blood vampires came to draw my blood. After poking me several times I turned and looked at her as if I was the girl on the exosist and said “don’t you put another needle in me”

I thought I was going to jump out of my skin and attack her, that is how much pain I was in.

What made matters worst was one of the doctors at the hospital had to help me deliver him.

While in labor he kept shoving his arm in me,trying to pull my baby out. After several attempts he sent for a huge hook that he planned to put around his neck and pull him out.

But no matter what the doctor did, he would not come out!

Shortly afterward my doctor walks in the door and calls a stat for emergency C-section.

During my surgery I was so afraid that he was not going to make it. I remember turning my head to my husband with tears rolling down my face. Asking what was going to happen to my him.

My husband responded with “it’s going to be alright!”

After our son was born, the doctor came in to tell us that they thought he had Down Syndrome, but they needed to run some genetic testing before giving a final diagnosis.

Three weeks later the test came back positive.

During those early years of his life, it was not easy to cope with his disabilities. I suffered from 6 years of depression. But I refused to quit. I knew I had it in me to be the mother that my little boy needed.

Only problem was I did not know how.

I remember reading every book that I could get my hands on, surfing the internet and talking to other parents who had a chid with Down Syndrome.

During that time I developed lots of patience and perserverance.

I now fast forward to 9 years later and what we have is a very happy, healthy little boy who does just about everything that his peers can do. Who is in a typical class with typical student.

I was not sure of what the outcome would be, but I am so glad that I had enough faith to believe he was going to be alright.

To answer my friends question, If I had the key to open any door, I would open the key to every parents heart and share with them to Never quit! Never quit on you child and never quit on your dream. do what it takes to make it happen.

Regardless of what it looks like with your child, if you will supply the faith to believe all things ar possible through Christ Jesus!

The moral of my story is, just because things don’t look like they are going to be alright, does not mean they won’t!

In the beginning the news was gloomy and the outcome did not look good.

But because I decided to furnish the faith to believe, it has given me the ability to perservere in every area of my life.

And now I spend my days, looking for a parent to encourage. Encouraging in every area of their lives.

I have some exciting accomplishments to share with you in 2012. Looking  forward to my next email as I share with you the keys too never quitting.

~The Queesn Of A 5 Hour Work Week

The #1 thing you must do in order to make money online is where I left off on my last email.

I shared with you some of the challenges that I faced and how I overcame them.

My goal is to reveal to you the #1 thing you must do in order to succeed online,
with hopes of helping you to avoid some of the painful pitfalls that I faced.

You will find the majority of the gurus saying you must work on your mindset. I say I don’t
think so!

A few will say you must be passionate about what you do, I say not so!

Another select group will say attend webinars and improve your skill set. Notta!

Others say you must find a profitable niche, do keyword research, create a product and
set up a sales funnel that converts well. I say no way!

The majority say drive traffic to your targeted, high converting sales funnel and I am afraid
I must disagree again!

You see all of the things mentioned above are required in order to make money online,
but they are not the #1 thing that you need in order to succeed online.

If you follow this advice I guarantee, you will end up lost, confused, overwhelmed and
ready to quit.

My question to you is are you ready to discover what the #1 thing you must do in order
to make money online?

If your answer is yes than stay tuned…..

If your answer is no, then I would like to thank you for hanging around and look forward

to sharing some nuggets with you that is going to change the way you do business online.
For all of my friends who said yes, are you ready?

You see all of the things I mentioned above are important, but they are not the most
important. I have spent the last 3 years doing all of the above in my own little way.
What do I mean by saying my own little way?

You see I have spent thousands of dollars on training and becoming the very best,
but the #1 thing I did ot do is take action as I learned.

Going to college means absolutely nothing, if you are not going to take action and
look for a job in your field. So why waste your time and money?

The same thing holds true to making money online. Not only will I say not taking
action is the #1 thing that keeps most people from succeeding.

I would say that the action they take should be strategic. A plan should be devised.
It does not need to be a perfect plan. But a plan that gives you a step by step guide
to follow. Each step taking you closer to your outcome.

Warning! If you do not pay attention to this advice, there is danger lurking ahead and
I warn you to proceed with caution.

Because everyone out there does not have your best interest in mind. You see their
concern is to reach a quota at the end of the a day and they don’t care who helps them
make it.

Just as they have a concern you must have one as well. Your concern is that you are not
buying the next greates shinny object that promises to give you $492,222 in a day.

But you are being strategic with your time, talent and treasures. What do I mean by that?
Time is a commodity and what you do with it will make or beak you.

Before coming into the knowledge of what is required of me to make it online. I would
buy one product after the other. Jumping on every webinar that was presented. I was
getting plenty of knowledge, but had no time left to put it into action.

Also, I would spend countless hours sharing my skill and not being compensated for
the time that I put into coaching. I knew I should have charged for my services, but I never
put into action the training that I was taught : my time has a value.

Last but not least, I would spend money on one product after the other, looking for the
magic bullet. Most products that I purchased, I was able to learn from, but there are
many that still sit on my hard drive untouched as of today.

And more than likely they will remain untouched. Unless they fit into my strategic plan and there is some information that I need to learn in order to complete my project.

All of this could have been avoided if I would have taken some time to write down my
action plan. I have my action plan written down and follow the steps every day.

The best way to learn how to build a list is to offer them a product. The best types of product to offer are digital products.  For example, you can create a product  called:

“How To Build A List”. First you will want to create a hot offer.  Something that is  irresistible  that they cannot refuse.  This needs to be a product that identifies their problem and provides a solution.

There are many ways on how to build a list.

Daegan Smith Rocks!!!

See, Greg is on the verge of changing his life with his internet based home

Greg works hard, in fact, last night we had to cut our conversation short

Last weekend I was honor to be interviewed by my partner Super Dave at Daegan Smith Live Event in Baltimore Maryland.  Daegan Smith is an awesome teacher and knows how to put on a life changing event! During our break my business partner  Super Dave asked me if he could interview me without knowing I don’t care to be in front of a camera or video.

But because I know what it takes to succeed, I push past my uncomfortable feeling and interviewed with Super Dave before Daegan Smith started the live event training back.

If you know my story, you know why I don’t like the to be in front of a video camera. After completing and reviewing the video, I did  an awesome job and I owe it to mentors like Daegan Smith! The amazing thing is that you would not know that I was not comfortable in front of the camera if I did not say anything about it.

One of the things that I learned at Daegan smith live event is that you must fail many times before you actually succeed. If  I want to be good at interviews, then I must fail at them many times in order to succeed.

I was looking back at some of my old youtube videos and can tryuy say that I have come a long way since then. It has been 3 years, my posture as well as my confidence amazes me every time, but it only happened because I had enough faith to believe that I could succeed at what I wanted in life!
